Disadvantages of email

Though there are many advantages of using email, there are certain drawbacks also. Some of these factors which should be considered before using email for sending important messages are:
1. Security : Emails can be intercepted at any point during the transmission of the message from the sender to the recipient.

2. Reliability : Though most emails are delivered to the recipient, some may not reach the recipient due to problems with the senders or recipient’s servers.

3. Spam filters : Most spam filters use algorithms, which may incorrectly mark a valid email as spam, and the recipient may not receive it.

4. Graphics and large files : Email is suitable for transmitting small messages and documents. For large files like images and drawings, the recipient may find it difficult to download the message, especially if the internet connection is slow.
